How to make French Press coffee?
The French press, or press pot, is a classic and straightforward brewing method that produces a rich, full-bodied cup of coffee. With the right technique, you can bring out the coffee’s natural sweetness and depth—without bitterness or sediment.
Tamper
Make sure the tamper is the correct size. All types of tampers can be used. If you want to be extra consistent, get a calibrated tamper. It applies the same pressure every time, so you don't have to think about it.
The French press is one of the easiest and most accessible ways to brew coffee—while still delivering a rich, full-bodied cup with plenty of depth. With the right grind size, coffee-to-water ratio, and a few simple adjustments, you can brew incredibly good coffee at home—every single time.
